I’ve been using the EX1 foundation for so long however whenever anyone asked what foundation I used, they had never heard of EX1. It’s already a cult favourite in the UK and I’m sure it’s soon going to be a hit in Dubai, especially with so many Olive skin beauties here. I generally alternate between a few foundation brands because what I use depends on what my current skin color is. I tan very easily so if I’ve been running outdoors in the mornings I tend to move to a deeper foundation shade but I nearly always mix shades and the largest pump always comes from EX1 as my main base. This foundation is a game changer for Olive skin tones – I haven’t found another foundation that caters to Olive undertones as well as EX1. The shade range alone is impressive with 16 shades catered to Olive undertones. Most big beauty brands only have one or two shades within a collection that cater to Olive undertones with majority of the shades catered to Pink or Yellow undertones. Olive undertones have been ignored for far too long so it’s refreshing to see a brand that has focused so heavily on those of us that struggle with foundation matching.

The EX1 Invisiwear liquid foundation gives a luminous finish which can be mattified very well if you set it by baking for a few extra seconds – this is what I generally do so that it lasts all day. It’s also buildable so you can achieve full coverage. The best part is that it doesn’t oxidize at all! Apart from the fact it ticks all the boxes, it’s also affordable. It’s available at Watsons GCC in Dubai mall.
