Pores…we all have them, even Kim Kardashian. Unfortunately, as you get older they become more obvious and you don’t get any kind of warning.

This has recently become a major issue for me. I basically woke up one day, applied my makeup as usual and noticed that out of nowhere my pores were drastically more visible than ever before around the sides of my nostril area. Honestly, I thought maybe it was a one-off day or I was dehydrated but it didn’t go! I tried the leading primers like Benefit POREfessional and smashbox but it just wasn’t doing the job so after researching into it I’ve finally come up with a process that minimizes them!

I don’t think you can just eradicate them with one product so this step by step process works well in shrinking the pore size and smoothing the skin for better makeup application. The unfortunate thing is that they are not as obvious as when you apply makeup so it’s important to have a good base to put your foundation on top of.

Here’s my step by step on how to eradicate those nasty large pores – it will take a couple of weeks of this for you to really see the difference but it’s worked wonders on me!

STEP 1 – Cleanse with your usual face wash and then pat dry.

STEP 2 – Apply Origins GinZing mask to open pore areas, leave for 10 mins and peel off.

STEP 3 – Apply PIXI Glow Tonic with a cotton pad to the areas that have obvious open pores.

STEP 4 – Apply your usual moisturizer.

STEP 5 – Apply Becca Ever Matte Poreless primer to open pore areas.

STEP 6 – Apply makeup as usual.

STEP 1 – Take makeup off then wash with your usual face wash and exfoliator.

STEP 2 – Apply PIXI Glow Tonic with a cotton pad to the areas that have obvious open pores.

STEP 3 – Apply LANCER Caviar Lime Acid Peel to open pore areas and leave on all night (not recommended if you have thin or sensitive skin). Do this step 3-4 times a week. The thicker your skin is the more often you can use it. If you have thin or sensitive skin then just leave it on for one hour and follow with your moisturizer.
