When I heard Anastasia Beverly Hills were launching a foundation, I was so intrigued to see what it would be like. Would it be full coverage? Matte? Glowy? I honestly thought they would start with a full coverage foundation but they surprisingly went for a luminous foundation. I received the press pack yesterday and I’m so in love with this foundation…which is surprising for me as I love matte foundations. This is probably one of the easiest liquid foundations to use. I’ve broken it down for you below….

Application – The pump is super easy to use and not messy at all. One pump goes a long way so don’t overdo it. It blends so well with a compact stipple brush but equally really nice with a sponge too. If you want a bit more coverage use a dry sponge. It’s pretty amazing how quickly it blends into the skin. It doesn’t streak while blending and just looks like a veil of flawless color infused into your skin.

Coverage – The box says it’s medium coverage which it is but you can easily layer on another layer and make it semi-full coverage. If you use a full coverage concealer with it then you can get a beautiful finish for people who prefer full coverage.

Finish – It says on the box that it’s a ‘luminous foundation’ which it is but I’m really glad it’s not overly luminous. It’s just leaves a really nice healthy glow. Even without primer, pores don’t look too obvious. The finish is beautiful.

Staying power – It lasts really well and your skin doesn’t end up looking oily later. I kept it on for around 6 hours so can’t comment on any longer than that but for the time I had it on it looked fresh and flawless.

Additional info – It’s Vegan! Gluten-free, alcohol-free, clinically tested, dermatologist tested, ophthalmologist tested, non-comedogenic, suitable for sensitive skin, long-wearing and no flashback!
