If you prefer natural makeup then this is the line for you. The Creme De La Mer packaging is stunning and it’s exactly what I want to pull out of my bag when touching up. Aside from the beautiful packaging lets talk about what it looks like on your skin. I’ll go through both products that I’ve tried and give my honest opinion on how it looked and felt on my skin.

The Sheer Pressed Powder – This has to be one of the best looking pressed powders I’ve used. The packaging is everything! The powder is formulated with La Mer’s iconic ingredient; Miracle Broth (I have given a detailed explanation of this below) and raw ocean clay. Although it’s a sheer finish, I feel like it gives amazing coverage if used with the foundation. It gives a matte finish but what I loved about it is that it still gave me a subtle glow and brightened up my skin. This may have something to do with the light reflecting pigments that create a soft blurring effect for a multi-dimensional look that’s matte but never flat. This is perfect to touch up with during the day if needed. I used it more for the under eye area as it really brightened up the area and gave a flawless finish. My shade is Medium/Deep. $95

The Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation SPF20 – I love that it’s a glass bottle but it also worries me in case I drop it! It looks and feels well worth the spend so if you’re planning on keeping it on your dressing table in full view then great. It’s available in 21 shades and I managed to find the perfect match for my skin tone (I’m Honey). The texture is smooth liquid and quite weightless so it doesn’t feel heavy on your skin. In fact, it honestly doesn’t feel like your wearing anything. It’s buildable and layers on pretty well without looking heavy. It definitely covers imperfections well and pores seem less visible. It lasted well though out the day. I did need to touch up throughout the day with powder however that”s because I prefer the matte look whereas you may like a subtle dewy look in which case you probably wouldn’t need to touch up if you had combination skin. The formula is infused with the brands iconic Miracle Broth. $110

Miracle Broth – A potent, anti irritant skin renewing mixture called Miracle Broth that helps to calm redness and inflammation. It’s a combination of Pacific Sea Kelp with Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Iron and Lecithin, Vitamins C, E and B12 along with oils of Citrus, Eucalyptus, Wheat Germ, Alfalfa and Sunflower which are then put through a bio-fermentation process that lasts three months.
